    General Rehabilitation Program
     
    New England Rehabilitation of Portland's General Rehabilitation Program addresses the specific needs of patients with multiple serious health problems due to illness or injury who require a hospital level of care. The program provides comprehensive medical rehabilitation services for those individuals who have experienced a decline in their physical and cognitive abilities.
     
    Types of patients served within the General Rehabilitation Program:
     
    • Post-operative complications from abdominal, cardiac or vascular surgery.
    • Wound care issues from serious medical complications or pressure ulcers.
    • Debility following complex medical surgeries.
    • Multiple system failure, complex injuries or illnesses.
