Community Re-Entry
Community re-entry is particularly difficult for patients with new disabilities. Parents frequently are unaware of what specific interventions their children need in school and in the community to access appropriate services and/or accommodations. This is a critical area where our specially trained professionals provide guidance and assistance for a successful transition.
The areas we focus on include:
- Family education
- Sensory integration
- Communication skills
- Home programming
- Mental functioning
- Walking/other means of locomotion
- Feed and oral motor skills
- Pre-writing and handwriting skills
- Adaptive environment
- Wheelchair assessments
- Balance training
