New England Rehabilitation Hospital of Portland Presents
Helen Miller with Citizenship Award

Portland, Maine (May, 2006) - Helen Miller, Rehab Aide, was awarded the Citizen Award for 2005 by New England Rehabilitation Hospital of Portland (NERHP). The award is presented to an NERHP employee in recognition of their ongoing efforts towards furthering their education and contributing to their community. A ceremony was held earlier this year at NERHP's Brighton Room to honor Ms. Miller.
"Helen has become a key member of the rehab aide group," says Amy Morse, CEO, NERHP. "She has taken on every new challenge with a willingness and determination to learn new things. Therapists highly regard her calm demeanor in working with any type of patient."
Helen has been with NERHP since 1997. In addition to her duties as a Rehab Aide, she also supports the outpatient department. While working full time she is enrolled at Andover College in their Medical Assistance Program and taking classes in the evenings. Her other community involvement includes working as a counselor for troubled young women in the community.
