New England Rehabilitation Hospital Welcomes Dr. Mary Macy as Outpatient Medical Director
Portland, Maine (December, 2004) - Mary Macy, M.D. has joined the medical staff at New England Rehabilitation Hospital of Portland as the Outpatient Medical Director. She will primarily be offering outpatient services in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Her office is located in the NERHP Outpatient Department. She will be accepting appointments beginning 12/10/2004. Please call 662-8377.
Dr. Macy joins us from the Naval Hospital Great Lakes in Great Lakes, Illinois where her practice included the treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunction and pain in the Orthopedic Department. Dr. Macy also saw patients at the North Chicago Veterans Administration Hospital just next door to Naval Hospital Great Lakes. She was a clinical instructor at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Chicago Medical School. During her service in the US Navy, she was chief resident at Johns Hopkins-Sinai Hospital PM & R program in Baltimore. Dr. Macy's ties to Maine include her service as a flight surgeon at the Brunswick Naval Air Station.
Dr. Macy is returning to Maine with her sone, Chris, and will be living in the Portland area. We welcome them back to Maine and NERHP.
