Every three months, the National Research Corporation (NRC) an independent research firm, reports the results of patient satisfaction surveys conducted at all HEALTHSOUTH facilities across the country.
In the most recent quarterly survey of New England Rehabilitation Hospital patients, gave NERHP a satisfaction rating of 93.8 out of 100. Of those responding to the survey, 98% said they would definitely or likely recommend the facility to family and friends. Further, NERH exceeded national scores on such indicators as

NERHP is proud of the care and services provided to patients. The hospital has been recognized nationally for patient satisfaction in nursing and physician care and overall satisfaction with care, receiving awards in each of the last two years.
Accreditation
New England Rehabilitation Hospital of Portland is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). JCAHO evaluates and accredits nearly 16,000 healthcare organizations and programs across the country.
